It needs to move fresh produce from receiving to washing, prep, extraction, finishing, and handoff without crowding staff, slowing orders, or creating cleanup issues.
For a hotel breakfast counter, café, fitness club, restaurant, or dedicated juice concept, the right setup starts with menu volume and workflow. Equipment should be selected as a working system, not as separate countertop purchases. That approach protects service speed, product consistency, sanitation, and the operating life of the equipment.
Start With the Menu and Expected Volume
A small menu built around orange juice, lemonade, and a few blended drinks needs a different production line than a bar serving cold-pressed juices, smoothie bowls, detox shots, and made-to-order combinations. Before finalizing a layout, define what will be sold, how many orders are expected during peak periods, and which items must be produced to order.
Citrus-heavy menus usually benefit from a dedicated commercial citrus juicer. It keeps output consistent and avoids tying up a multi-purpose blender. Plan Utilities Before Equipment Arrives
Many installation delays begin after equipment has been selected. Every major appliance should be checked against the available electrical supply, water connection, drainage capacity, and physical access route before delivery. Create an equipment schedule showing the required voltage, wattage, plug type, water inlet, drain outlet, and ventilation needs for every unit. Fresh juice residue dries quickly, pulp builds up around extraction components, and ice or fruit pieces can reach drains. Select units with removable, washable parts and leave enough clearance to service them properly.
Stainless steel fabrication should be planned around real cleaning routines. Closed gaps behind counters can trap debris.
